Restrict traffic flow through the Main St & removing ALL onstreet car parking in the village, loosing the largest public space, the Greenhills plaza, inserting a second “bus gate” at Nugents & the Esso site and redirecting cars onto the N81 when approaching the village from Main Rd, Bancroft, Newtown, Glenview and Tymon North.\r\n\r\nRemove the current 40+ onstreet car parking bays.\r\nThis will directly mean all village residents and businesses will have to pay for private car parking.\r\nThe council residents parking and 30 mins free parking will no longer be available on Main St or the Old Greenhills Rd.\r\nWhy should residents, some third generation Tallaght village, lose onstreet parking after having it for over 60 years!\r\nThis will devalue their homes, increase car insurance, make it impossible for people to visit them in cars. The impact to many businesses will also be impacted.\r\nWe can’t ignore such a negative impact on members of our community. - Tallaght Village Enhancement Scheme Part VIII Public Consultation. Petition: Repair the brownstown Road newcastle - with road closures lasting months - it is imperative, this is repaired - it is the only available road for locals.. - about half way on the browns town Road Newcastle - about the size of a van in length and width - approx 4or 5 inches deep at at the moment & full of water. There’s a lot of them on that road . The Loughtown road that the traffic is diverted to, the opposite side is as bad . The road at the Polly hops is the same if not worse, two months people are raising their concerns over it, cars destroyed, tyres destroyed. |

Reinstate 38 car parking spaces at the new Gael Scoil Chluain Dolcáin / Coláiste Chillían development and keep the existing main entrance/exit gate. NTA has cut spaces from 103 ? 65 and removed the main gate, causing major traffic bottlenecks. Plenty of space exists, yet spots are lost to kerbing and landscaping. These spaces must be reinstated urgently to support teachers, parents, and safe village traffic. |

Keep the No. 13 bus route - Over October and November, the 13 has been cancelled or partially cancelled over 1200 times. It is the 5th most cancelled Dublin bus route this year so far. On 1 day in October, it was cancelled over 21 times.
The 13 is vital for Clondalkin. It’s the only bus that serves areas like Bawnogue, and it’s the primary means of transport to work, college, and school for many across Clondalkin.
As part of Busconnects changes planned for next year, the 13 will no longer serve Woodford. Following Watery lane, it will now go down the New Nagor road ? Long mile road ? Cork street. (No longer serving Inchicore and James’ Hospital.)
Traffic through the area is getting worse with the village frequently at a standstill during peak hours. Clondalkin is large, and growing area which needs a reliable bus service.
If we are going to get the service we deserve we need a campaign to put pressure on the NTA and the government. |

Insert Junction 8 on and off the M50 from parkwest / nangor road.. between junction 7 (lucan) and 9 (naas road) would help reduce the traffic coming up Woodford Hill from the park west area. I can't understand why there isn't an on/off ramp to the M50 near Park west. |

Pls Oppose: Blanchardstown Town Centre owners want to introduce parking charges. They have applied to Fingal Council for planning permission to install paid parking & barrier infrastructure.
The application (FW25A/0410E) was cynically described as a “mobility enhancement project” but in reality it’s a move by SVP
investment fund to squeeze retail workers, shoppers, the local community — as well as the centre’s public facility users — for every drop of profit.
This is a regressive, unfair measure and a betrayal of the local community who campaigned for a town centre to bring a focal point for the area. The centre’s 7000 car parking spaces will be commodified, replacing open access with barriers resulting in increased traffic congestion & pollution, reduced accessibility for all & especially elderly and disabled people to key resources like the Library, Post Office, Draoicht, credit union, banking, GP and medical facilities and Fingal Council offices.
The Centre’s retail workers are not well paid and are already suffering the Cost of Living crisis, alongside the rest of us, and will now be penalised further by an immensely wealthy corporation. It was estimated by Liffey Valley workers when introduced there that parking charges would cost them €600 a year.
The planning application if approved will also result in the felling of nearly 500 mature trees and erecting large LED signage, significantly damaging the environment & biodiversity in the area.
It will lead to congestion and overflow parking in neighbouring estates
We need to oppose this profit grab and enclosure of an open community resource.
