Absolutely no need for a playground. The school teams and Boot Road would have no where to train. Corkagh Park is 2mins away. Kids need grass areas for free play too. Also the local creche bring Kids there for playtime too. All it would do is attract anti social behaviour and get damaged and become an eyesore for everyone and leave the school and football  clubs with  no where to train. A playground on this green will significantly impact the football playing pitches of our local kids teams. Not to mention the anti social behaviour that local residents would have to deal with after daylight hours.
