Playground Sruleen - Green in front of Centra, Green park, St Johns Drive, (proposal no. 9) - 10 items or less.. LEAP = medium sized playground with over 10 play items, NEAP is a large playground with over 20 Play items. Propser SDCC
Absolutely not. The poor kids from boothroad Celtic who just want to play football and Sruleen school who use it alot of the time too. Ridiculous idea. There's a playground minutes awaymb
Absolutely no need for a playground. The school teams and Boot Road would have no where to train. Corkagh Park is 2mins away. Kids need grass areas for free play too. Also the local creche bring Kids there for playtime too. All it would do is attract anti social behaviour and get damaged and become an eyesore for everyone and leave the school and football clubs with no where to train. Absolute waste of money.
A playground on this green will significantly impact the football playing pitches of our local kids teams. Not to mention the anti social behaviour that local residents would have to deal with after daylight hours. This is a major miscalculation on the part of the council that this would be a good proposal.
why do we need another playground here when we have a huge park 5 mins away with a playground and loads of other facilities, putting a playground here would deny 100’s of kids a facility to play football every single week, local councillors with any affiliation with the area would and should KNOW this already
A well maintained football pitch , would be much better for kids and the community, a playground will only cause anti socil behaviour , please use the budget on the local football, the football keep the kids busy out of trouble and is get for kids mental health .
Where will my son's football team train and play their matches if this goes ahead? There is already an enormous playground within walking distance in Corcagh Park.
Shocking to take the field up with a playgroud when Corkagh park is a few minutes walk away. That is Booth Road Celtics Home pitch and its so lovely seeing them play every other week would be such a shame to see the field go to put another playground very upset to hear this proposal.
There is a huge park a few minutes away with a great playground already. It is hard enough as it is to keep kids playing football, why make that more difficult by talking away a pitch?
There is absolutely no need for a playground here this is an open space used by 100s of kids from booth road Celtic and by the schoolchildren of Sruleen school surely to god you can think of something better to do with your resources
